Surprising my family (Vlog 11-09-13)

Good afternoon critters!

I understand that this is a little late at getting out, but that's okay :) bear with me as I try to catch up and do all of my homework before the upcoming Thanksgiving break!
Anyways, I went home this past weekend, and I did not tell anyone in my family. I wound up getting back at like 2am on Friday, so I decided just to stay at Sky's and surprise my family on Saturday!
It was great! This video is just from all of the fun things that happened while I was back home on Saturday. We played with the dogs, went shopping (stay tuned for a haul video), and sang our hearts out to the game Sing Star!
Oh, and I also posted some pictures below for you all to check out that I took over the entire fun and eventful weekend! Enjoy

Good morning critters!

Soooo this video is like super late, and I actually have some very valid excuses as of why. First off, I had planned on posting this sooner; however, I wound up updating my OS to the Maverick edition! (Which is super awesome and absolutely free by the way.) And they change their entire iMovie!!! It's so much better but it also meant a lot of new learning for me. Also, on top of that, after I finally discovered the basics of the new iMovie and began uploading the video to YouTube, YouTube's server had issues. It took me over 24 hours to upload the video... is it even worth it?
Well, I am really sorry for the delay. AND I'd really appreciate it if you could watch my video/mini haul.

Hey critters!

Sorry this is so late in getting out. Sky and I have had a very busy week in general. In this video you will see that I mention my new room tour post--if you haven't seen that check it out here. And, my new filofax organization/review is up and you can read about that here.
Also, I talk about doing a haul video for you all, sadly Sky and I did not make the time to do so. Soooo, here is a list of all of the things we got and links to them (if there are links): a mirror for my filming office [to do make-up tutorials and things like that], a plain and simple hamper for the bedroom, a shoe rack for the closet, and the Jawbone Up.
I unboxed my Up band already; however, I did not film it... so sometime in the near future I will do a "redo unboxing" haha and give you all a little snapshot/review on the band. In the meantime, do any of you critters have the Jawbone Up? I'd love to get some friends to follow and compete against so shoot me an invite!

The Flash Clean (First Impressions & Review)

Good evening critters!
I know it has been a very long time since I have posted something new; Sky and I had a very busy (well, maybe we were just pretty lazy) week.
Anyways, over the weekend I went to my local Target and picked up some of Maybelline's new product by Clean Express! It's called The Flash Clean, and it is supposedly going to take off your make-up, cleanse your skin, and also apply a moisturizer. I had a $1 off coupon, so I decided--what the heck--and went for it. Without the coupon, this product was listed as $4.99 which I suppose isn't too bad; however, the tube is pretty small (just a little smaller than the height of my hand).

In the video below, you can watch as I apply it and experience how well it really takes off make-up. I did sort of a mini review of what I saw with my first use.
The make-up that I had on was rather heavy because I had just got off work. I had a liquid eyeliner, mascara, some eyeshadow, foundation, and a bright red lip stain on. I noticed that this Flash Clean product removed my make-up very well; but, it left the residue on my face, so I needed to make sure to use a cotton round in order to pick up all of that slime it left on my face. When applied to my lips it mostly just smeared the color all around my mouth (you can see this happen in the video). I looked funny, but it wasn't really an issue since all I had to do was wipe it off again. So, all-in-all it removed all the make-up without too much hassle.
I don't usually use a moisturizer because my face is pretty oily. One thing that I did not like about this product was that it felt slimy. It was goopy when I put it on my eyes, strange feeling on my lips, and just really heavy on my whole face. Just imagine putting a lotion directly on your already make-up covered face. It made me feel a little unclean even though it is supposed to be a cleanser as well. After applying it I splashed some water on my face to remove a bit of the slimy feeling and then I didn't have any more issues.

My Face Routine Week 2

Hello again critters!
Today ends the second week of my new face routine. If you haven't seen the post I did on week one click here and check it out!
I did change one thing on my routine because I ran out of the Acne Free brand toner. As I said in my earlier post, I had the entire Acne Free 3 step system while I was in high school, but I didn't use it as regularly as I should have to see improvements and gave up. When I started my new routine this time around, the 2nd step of the program was all I could find, and it was already half gone, so I ran out very quickly. However, I purchased another toner by Clean & Clear from my local convenience store. It should do the same thing it is just a different brand.

My face is greatly improving, and I am so happy with the results I am seeing. Obviously, this is not a program to get rid of the scaring and dark marks that I have from previous acne breakouts; however, it is doing an excellent job of reducing my bumps and slowly preventing new breakouts from occurring. Compared to my previous post, you can see that my acne is almost completely gone. I do have red marks, scars, and dark marks still, but bumps and all my previous white heads are nearly gone! I am s happy with the way my face is clearing up. Look forward to future posts about my routine.
