Happy Holidays all!
The purpose of this post is mainly meant for my family and really close friends.
I figured that giving a detailed explanation with pictures, websites, and more all attached in one spot would be way easier than writing a list on paper, and then expecting my family to find the stuff that I am talking about. So, for the past couple days I have been compiling images, links and all the deets that I need onto in a folder on my desktop just for this list! I really hope this makes it easier on all of my family and friends.

Recent Obsessions
Hello again.
There's always something that I have got to be loving, want to bad in my life, or can't stop using! These are the things that have been keeping all of my attention this past month or so--and I'll admit, I'm pretty obsessed.
My Converse. I got these shoes kind of on a whim when I saw another stylish college girl rocking the edgy look. Thankfully I did because I haven't stopped wearing them. I pair my converse with black skinnys, regular skinnys, or even leggings.
Body Butter. I bought some cheap body cream from CVS a while ago and love spreading on my arms and legs after I hop out of the shower. It is so moisturizing and especially soothing after shaved legs.
My new iPhone 6. You cannot even believe how extactic I was when I found out that I was ready for an upgrade at the time of the iPhone 6 launch. I rushed over to the nearest AT&T store to pick mine up. It truly is an upgrade from my terrible worn in iPhone 5.
My watch. I think I've mentioned my watch before in another favorites post, but I can't help it--I keep bringing it up. I love the way it looks on my arm all big and chunky! And because it's silver AND gold, I can wear it everyday, all the time, with every outfit.
White nail polish. Truthfully, I've always been a black nails girl. I thought that was the only way to look edgy and match whatever outfit you pulled on. But for Halloween I was a skeleton, so I decided to try something new and go white. Boy do it love it! I think this might be my new color, what do you think?
VS Pink Sweater. Now, I actually don't own this item, but I decided to include it anyway because I have been on the hunt nonstop. I saw one at my local mall the other day; however, by the time I was able to get back in there to purchase one they were all sold out! I have literally been obsessing over this sweater.
What have you been thinking about, doing, or loving nonstop? I want to know your current obsession! Let me know in the comment section below.

Fashion in the Office
Hello again!
As I prepare for an internship I find myself preparing my closet as well. Is this a girl thing? Either way, i am definitely enjoying taking the time to spruce up my wardrobe and give it some much needed grown up additions.
Whenever I need help with outfits and fashion pieces I always look to Pinterest. I have an amazing board called Fashion in the Office that I have been pinning to for the last couple months. These outfits have given me inspiration when I am out and about shopping at Charlotte Russe, H&M, Express, etc.
I am truly excited for this new intenship possibility! And I am just as excited to dress the part, get myself all put together, and become a successful woman in the technology field.
These above two images are probably my favorite outfits that I have found on pinterest. I love both of their basic style--totally me! The outfit on left is amazing because of the neutral toned long blazer. I think that this blazer is the kind that's very hard to find; but, when you do, it's absolutely stunning and totally flattering. The second image on the right just really showcases my style when it comes to sweater weather. I love the mustard color for the fall time, and I definitely could see myself pulling together an outfit like this in the morning before a long day at work.

Comment below and let me know what you would/do wear to the office! I'd love to hear about you style.

As Seen On: The New Blak-- "3 Ways to Style a Circle Skirt"
Hello again critters!
The launch of TNB has been amazing, If you haven't checked out the site already, you definitely should >>> click here!
I published this post today, and I really wanted to share it. Oh, and don't forget to watch the video that I've linked for you all near the bottom.
Have a good day :)
Personally, I love this trend! This type of flowy and free skirt looks perfect on just about every body type, and it can come in tons of colors and patterns! I chose to style this plain black one for you all just to show how many different opportunities this skirt can have. It's definitely a staple piece in my wardrobe.
Summer Casual
This first outfit is a little more casual. Summer clothes need to be airy and bouncy because they keep you cool and comfortable even in the heat. I chose to throw on a bright and floral cropped tank, then swooped on a light weight denim sleeveless shirt.
Business Chic
If you want more of a official and dressy vibe then this skirt can be paired with any sort of button down. For an even more put together look, try wearing a skirt made of a different fabric--cotton is often too chill for an office, but maybe you could rock something heavier like pleather.
Sassy Night
Next up, let's try something for that evening life! When I'm out with friends I want to look super flirty and fun. I chose to pair the circle shirt with a lose-fitting crop top. All of the layers bouncy around perfectly when you're getting your groove on on the dance floor.

How to Wear: Birkenstocks
This shoe is really trendy right now. It used to be huge a few years back and then fell off everyone's radar. As it's making a comeback (thank the heavens, because I am obsessed with this shoe) I wanted to share with you a few cute looks that I like to wear my Birkenstocks with.

The New Blak Blog
Hello again critters, long time no see!
Working is all I've been doing lately, but I decided to stop in and tell you about something very exciting. A blog that I have been creating for a month or so now is finally live. The New Blak is a fashion, beauty, and lifestyle blog devoted to making girls look good, feel good, and be good.
I didn't do the whole project on my own--this blog is a collaboration project with 4 other girls (Amanda, Bree, Diane, and Kaitlin). These girls are some of my closest friends, and I love working with them!

Creating the website for The New Blak was one of my biggest projects so far!! I am so happy that I did it, because I learned so much (and am still learning) as I take in this new experience. TNB is totally different from my own personal blog--it takes a lot of patience and collaboration to make any sort of decision when you're working with an entire team. When I want to change the header of my personal blog, I just do it; however, everything done on TNB needs to be talked about, discussed, and thought through thoroughly.
I really enjoyed the different experience, and can't wait to start contributing even more.
On TNB I will be doing a "Street Style" post every Friday and Sunday! Also, my official hashtag for the blog is #DanyellsDownload--on the first of every month I'll talk about all things techy that every girl needs to be beautiful, fit, and sassy!
Big changes are really happening in my life, and I am trying to keep you all up to date. Sorry for not being here--but, don't worry, I still love you!!

Workout Wish List
Hello again critters!
Getting into the workout grind can be a bit tough, but I find my inspiration by looking up some cute clothes I'd rock while running or doing something at the gym. For me, I am not going to buy workout clothes until I know I am committed to adding the gym into my normal routine. After a couple of weeks or so, I feel confident that I can keep running constantly--and then, I know that my cute workout clothes will come in handy. Only then can I splurge on the things I've had my eye on from the beginning.
I need to get that toned body back that I used to have while doing sports back in high school. Losing weight isn't an incentive for me because I don't find my weight to be the issue. I want to look and feel comfortable and sexy in a crop top and bathing suit; therefore, basic cardio and some ab work is all I need.
To get myself inspired, I've collected some online items I am dying to have that will look great as I work out (when I am positive I can do it consistently).
